1. Create a free login profile which allows you to shop faster, track the status of your current orders and review your previous orders. 2. You will receive a weekly e-mails, starting in late June, that lets you know that your produce choices for the next delivery are ready for you to shop on the website. 3. Shop for the produce that you would like custom picked for you that week and submit your order by Sunday at midnight. 4. Your order is picked and packaged for you. 5. You pick up your order at your selected delivery site. How is Lora’s Nourishing Produce grown? Our mission is to produce nutrient-dense, health-building produce, thus the name: Lora’s Nourishing Produce. I am excited to have Marla Epps working with me in researching growing methods that maximize producing healthful food. Marla has a Master’s degree in horticulture from CSU. Her special focus is on all the factors that affect the soil in which the plants are grown. The goal is to provide a healthy environment for the soil-based organisms that convert the elements in the soil into forms that can be absorbed and utilized by the roots to grow vitamin-, mineral-, enzyme-, nutrient-rich produce. To accomplish this, a few of our methods will include the use of certified organic compost, OMRI approved soil enhancements and filtering irrigation water so that the chemicals in the water will not kill the good microbes in the soil. This means we will not be using the typical petroleum-based, commercial N-P-K fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides or anything else that would disturb the natural balance of how food is supposed to be grown. We will be getting any produce items that we are not able to grow, such as sweet corn, melons, winter squash, and potatoes, from Colorado organic farmers. What does it cost? Your login profile is free and you only order what you want on the weeks that you want it. The delivery fee per order is $6 and it does not matter how big or small your order is. That's it, nice and simple! What are the pick-up locations and times?
When do my orders need to be placed by? Your order must be placed by Sunday evening at midnight in order for it to get included in the following week’s pickup. What kind of payment do you take? For your convince we accept: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal What e-mails will I receive? We send out a weekly e-mail to inform you that the produce choices for that week are online and ready for you to order. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when you place your order. Our e-mail list is not shared with anyone else and is confidential. |
